Belbin's is all about Options... Your Options The retail grocery business has been part of our family's heritage since 1943. Our mission and values haven't really changed since our grandfather opened the store in 1943. However, over the years we have introduced many new products and services that we feel makes Belbin's a more attractive and convenient place to shop. Large Selection Our store is always well stocked with everything from fresh meats, produce, lots of frozen goods, deli and fast foods along with all the regular line-up that you would expect to find in most supermarkets. We don't stop there, in fact that's when we start to get interesting! Because of the fact that we are 100% independently owned, we can carry all types of products in our store, not only the ones that our head office tells us to. We're not bound by 'inventory controls' or 'move out the dead stock' policy that seems to exist in most stores today. Simply put, if we feel our customers want it, we carry it! Consequentially, you're very likely to find items in our store that you have been unable to find elsewhere. One such example is our selection of frozen, ready to heat & serve meals that we sell under the name of 'Dinner's Ready … by Belbins.' Shop quickly either in person or by phone / fax / e-mail Our store is easy to shop, a regular weekly trip need not take you any more than 30 minutes. We have lots of staff, and any of them will be happy to help you with any part of your grocery shopping. Once you pick up your groceries, you can either take them with you, or ask to have them delivered. We take telephone orders daily, and you can fax or e-mail anytime and request delivery at any time within our delivery schedule. We have an order guide that will be helpful in making uo your weekly list, or you will find a handy product list when you "Order online." Belbin's Delivers If you choose to order your groceries with us and have us deliver them to your home or office, here's a few things you should know. We charge you $1.50 to take your order and to assemble it for delivery, and another $3.95 to deliver it to you within St. John's or Mt. Pearl. ( minimum orders may apply ) If you choose to shop in person and only have us deliver your groceries, you will only pay the $3.95 delivery fee. You only pay for the services you use. Ready for Pick - Up It may suit you better to order your groceries with us and ask that we have it ready for you to pick up after work. No fuss, no muss, when you come by your order is ready and we'll put it right aboard your car. This service will cost you $1.50 per order. Payment Options Anything you purchase from Belbin's can be paid for using cash, Interac, Visa or Mastercard. We have a Visa / Mastercard imprinter onboard our van so delivery customers can use their credit cards. On approved credit, customers can also pay by personal cheque or use their Belbin's Charge Account.
